Riyadh, July 20, 2020, SPA -- The Supreme Court of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which stayed sometime after sunset this evening monitoring the rise of the crescent of next lunar month of Zulhijja, announced that, as nobody has eye-seen the moon, it was decided that tomorrow, Tuesday, is the last day of the month of Zulqaeda 1441 H.. In a statement, the Supreme Court said that an ad hoc committee, assigned to monitor the starts of new lunar months, held a meeting this evening waiting to receive reports from regional courts and moon sight-seeing committees but it was revealed that nobody has witnessed to have monitored the moon of Zulhijja. Wednesday, July 22, 2020 is the first day of the month of Zulhijja according to Umal Qura calendar, the Supreme court said, adding that the stand of pilgrims on the mount of Arafat, the peak of Hajj ritual, falls on Thursday, the ninth of the month of Zulhijja corresponding to the 30thh of July 2020, followed on the next day, Friday, the 10th of Zulhijja by Eid Al-Adh-ha, Great Biram festival.
