Washington, Jun 27, 2020, SPA -- U.S. F-22 stealth fighter aircraft scrambled today to intercept four Russian reconnaissance jets off Alaska, said the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). NORAD said in a statement that the Russian reconnaissance aircraft flied 65 nautical miles south of the Aleutian Island chain and remained in international airspace for nearly eight hours, without entering the American or Canadian airspace.
