Makkah/Madinah, March 01,2020 SPA -- The Imam of the Grand Mosque (Alharam) in Makkah called in Friday Prayer’s Khutbah for bringing joy to the hearts of others, while the Imam of the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah emphasized the importance of saying good and kind things. The Imam of Alharam Mosque Sheikh Dr. Mahir Almuaqili delivered last Friday, the Friday Prayer sermon (Jumah Prayer Khutbah). During the Khutbah, Sheikh Almuaqili pointed out that joy and pleasure would be a blessing to the heart while worry and sadness would be a cause to the heart to be grumpy and miserable. He noted that the Islamic Sharia comes to take into account the human kind needs in a way to refine its behavior and emotions. He added by saying, "Allah the Almighty makes joy and pleasure, the fruit of satisfaction and certainty. Therefore, the highest rank of joy is the joy of Islam and faith, and the guidance of Sunnah (The Prophet's sayings and deeds) and Quran." Sheikh Almuaqili pointed to other causes of the heart's joy, which is bringing joy and happiness to the hearts of the people. He explained by saying, "The more the human gives, cares about others affairs, relieves their grievances, strives to look after their needs, smiles at them, the greater his happiness," noting that gifts bring love, prove affection, compose the hearts, and grudges are gone from peoples' hearts. In Madinah, the Imam of the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Abdulmohsen Alqasim, delivered the Friday Prayer sermon (Jumah Prayer Khutbah).
