GACA’s President Thanks Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince for their Interest in Facilitating Return of Citizens Abroad who Wish to Return to Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, Apr 5, 2020, SPA -- President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) Abdulhadi Al-Mansouri extended his thanks and appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, for their care for citizens and exerting efforts in safeguarding the health and safety of all citizens, affirming the integration of GACA with other government efforts to facilitate the return of citizens abroad who wish to return to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Al-Mansouri said that GACA has made full use of its efforts and capabilities to receive citizens wishing to return to the Kingdom, as it prepared the travel terminals at the Kingdom's international airports, in of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. Furthermore, GACA is scheduling flights designated for the plan to return citizens who wish to return to the Kingdom, in coordination with the national carrier, Saudi Arabian Airlines, as well as the continuous coordination with airports of other countries. Al-Mansouri added that GACA focused its procedures on taking all precautionary and preventive measures in combating the novel Coronavirus in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, as GACA is preparing departure and arrival points, aircraft crews and airports to ensure the application of all the precautionary measures in this regard. --SPA 01:55 LOCAL TIME 22:55 GMT 0023 www.spa.gov.sa/w1301745
