Mawhiba Announces Acceptance of 7 Talented Students at MIT University

Riyadh, March 17, 2020, SPA -- King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) has announced the acceptance of 7 of its talented students to study for a bachelor's degree in Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), one of the most important universities in the scientific and technical field. The students will join the university at the beginning of the next academic year. They are Asaad Saleh, Ghassan Al-Jawi, Rabab Al-Rufaie‏, Yazan Al-Majnouni, Moath Fayoumi, Mohammed Al-Khuraisi, and Masara Khalid. During their enrollment in Mawhiba, they received a variety of enriching and creative programs that enabled them to excel and participate in various local and international events and competitions and achieve national scientific achievements, in addition to working on research in distinguished research centers during secondary education, and due to their distinction, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) attracted them among the students targeted by its program to qualify students to obtain admission in distinguished universities and then grant a scholarship for those who obtain admission. MIT ranks first in the top five among the universities of the world and the first in the world as a technology university. As for the United States of America, the National Research Council ranked MIT as the first in terms of reputation and the fourth in terms of the awards granted to it.
