Jeddah, June 23, 2020, SPA -- The Secretariat General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has welcomed the Human Rights Council (HRC) resolution condemning a continuation of violations against rights of Rohingya and other minorities in Myanmar. The HRC resolution was taken during the 43rd HRC session which was concluded yesterday in Geneva. The HRC called upon all parties, particularly the military and security forces in Myanmar, to end urgently all violations of the international law, welcoming the International Court of Justice’s decision on January 23rd, 2020, urging the government of Myanmar to take all measures to prevent all acts of violence and genocide. --SPA 16:26 LOCAL TIME 13:26 GMT 0027 www.spa.gov.sa/w1355986
