Riyadh, October 9, 2019, SPA -- The Syrian Negotiation Commission held here today a meeting with the Constitutional Committee to prepare upcoming negations to be held in Geneva this month under auspices of the United Nations. The participants thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for supporting the Syrian people in order to achieve justice and implement international resolutions for a political solution that ensures a just solution of the Syrian issue. Dr. Nasr Al-Hariri, Head of the Syrian Negotiations Commission, highlighted the committee's works, calling on them not to lose more martyrs and to work tirelessly to ensure the success of a constitutional process which is a main step of the political solution. He affirmed that a real political transformation is required to ensure Syria with a new democracy, a state of law and institutions, highlighting the issue of detainees which required the UN pressure on the regime to release them.
