Speaking about Yemen, Prince Faisal said that the Kingdom has always supported a political solution in Yemen and hopes Al-Houthis would put the interests of Yemen, not Iran, first, citing the Kingdom's keenness on de-escalation in the region. On Saudi Arabia’s relationship with the US, the foreign minister commended the depth of the strategic relations between the Kingdom and the United States of America, and their historical ties in all fields, pointing out that the Kingdom has good channels for dialogue with the US Congress.
