Geneva, Oct. 29, 2019, SPA -- The Ministry of Labor and Social Development delegation, headed by Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Development for Labor Affairs Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Abuothnin yesterday participated in the meetings of the Board of Directors of the International Labor Organization (ILO) scheduled for Geneva during the period from 28 October to 7 November 2019, in the presence of Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the United Nations in Geneva Dr. Abdulaziz Mohammed Al-Wasel, it was reported here today. The Ministry will also participate in the G20 Working Group on Employment, on the sidelines of the ILO's Board of Directors, today to review the priorities of the Working Group during the Kingdom's presidency of the Group's work for 2020. The agenda of ILO meetings is scheduled to discuss the next International Labor Conference for 2020 agenda, the adoption of the draft ILO program of work and the results framework for the years 2020 and 2021, employment and social protection programs, social dialogue between the three working parties, as well as ILO development cooperation in support of the Sustainable Development Goals.
