Deputy Minister of Islamic Affairs inaugurates Symposium on Teaching the Holy Quran to Persons with Disabilities

Madinah, October 02,2019, SPA -- The Deputy Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Dr. Yousuf bin Mohammed bin Saeed today inaugurated here the Scholarly Symposium on "Teaching the Holy Quran to Persons with Disabilities, an Assessment of Reality and Looking Ahead for the Future" and the accompanying exhibition in which a number of specialists participate in the field of teaching the Holy Quran for the blind in several countries. The Secretary-General of King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran, Dr. Bandar bin Fahd Al-Suwailem, praised the permanent care of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to teach the Holy Quran, print its publications and distribute it throughout the globe. Dr. Al-Suwailem stressed the keenness of the Complex to facilitate all means and potentials for all groups to draw from the knowledge of the Holy Quran and its virtues and comply with its orders. Following this, the Deputy Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance launched a number of projects implemented by King Fahd Complex, including the project of the Holy City of the Blind, which consists of five volumes of the Holy Quran that include the translation of the meanings of the Holy Quran into the Japanese language, which has been implemented over three years, and is spoken by 125 million people.
