The tugboat was tugging a (dredge barge) owned by a South Korean company. This terrorist act reflects the true threat and danger of this terrorist militia on the freedom of navigation and international trade. It is a criminal precedent affecting the security of the Southern Red Sea and Bab-el-Mandeb Strait through highjacking and piracy. The Houthi miltia is responsible under international law for the safety of the multinational crew of the tugboat.
