Islamabad, Aug. 5, 2019, SPA -- Proceeding with its ongoing efforts to help those affected and the needy, the Islamabad-based World Relief, Care and Development, the relief arm of the Makkah-based Muslim World League (MWL), launched today the "Emergency Relief for Flood Victims in Pakistan" program. The inauguration ceremony was held under the patronage of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed al-Maliki, and the presence of a number of officials in the Pakistani government and relief organizations. Al-Maliki said that this program is an extension of the humanitarian role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in assisting needy countries and people, including Pakistan, and an extension of the leading humanitarian role played by the MWL to alleviate the suffering caused by the humanitarian crisis in the affected areas in Pakistan. -- SPA 21:48 LOCAL TIME 18:48 GMT 0036 www.spa.gov.sa/w1150564
