Minister of Foreign Affairs congratulates the leadership on success of Hajj season

Jeddah, August 14, 2019, SPA -- Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf has extended congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense on the success of the Hajj season for this year 1440 AH. The Minister said that successive successes of Hajj year after year have been achieved due to the follow-up and keenness of the wise leadership which made its first concerns to serve the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors. Dr. Al-Assaf stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has harnessed all its capabilities and sectors to serve the guests of Allah and provide all means to facilitate the performance of their rituals with ease and tranquility, sensing the great responsibility towards Muslims in all countries of the world without differentiation or discrimination. The Minister said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had the honor, such as other government agencies and other sectors in the service of the guests of Allah, including the use of advanced technologies for the issuance of electronic visas for pilgrims, whereas more than 1.8 million visas were granted to pilgrims from all over the world through all missions of the Kingdom Saudi Arabia and temporary Hajj missions in countries where the Kingdom does not have permanent diplomatic or consular representation, noting that the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Hajj season integrates with the roles of other sectors of the State under the directives of the leadership to provide everything that reflects the Kingdom's efforts in the service of visitors of the Two Holy Mosques. --SPA 14:52 LOCAL TIME 11:52 GMT 0013 www.spa.gov.sa/w1155932
