Riyadh, Aug 13, 2019, SPA -- Colonel Turki al-Maliki, the Official Spokesman of the Coalition Forces' Joint Command (Coalition to Support Legitimacy, in Yemen), said that the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia launched this morning a booby-trapped drone from Sanaa Governorate, in an extension of its terrorist operations, but it fell down in Amran Governorate on civilian targets and innocent civilians. Colonel Al-Maliki explained that the Houthi terrorist militia continues to adopt terrorist operations through its media tools and outlets, thus putting it and its terrorist leaders and planners to carry out such terrorist operations, under the responsibility and legal accountability, in accordance with the international humanitarian law. He stressed that the continuation of its false propaganda by announcing targeting the International airport (Abha) confirms what has been clarified by the command of the joint forces of the coalition that it has no longer but only lies and promotion of illusions, in order to raise the morale of its terrorist elements and propaganda to mislead the Yemeni tribes, to plunge their children in battles resulting in death and loss, in the service of the leadership of the militia and the regime of Iran. Colonel al-Maliki concluded his statement by reaffirming that the command of the joint forces of the coalition continue to take strict and deterrent measures to neutralize and destroy such ballistic capabilities to protect civilians inside Yemen, regional and international security, as well. -- SPA 21:59 LOCAL TIME 18:59 GMT 0032 www.spa.gov.sa/w1155760
