His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, delivered the following speech: "Praise be to Allah the Almighty, and peace and blessings be upon Prophet Mohammed, his family and companions. Dear brothers: We are delighted to welcome you to your second country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on this great day, as whenever the Yemenis come together is considered a day of joy for the Kingdom which was, since the era of late King Abdulaziz, the founder of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and will remain siding Yemen, keen on its stability, seeking for its prosperity and sure that the prudence of its people will overcome all challenges. The Kingdom's stances towards Yemen are as authentic as the authenticity of its dear people, with whom we share bonds of religion, brotherhood and neighborhood. As an extension of these positions, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has instructed the officials of the Kingdom to exert every effort to help end the dispute among parties in Yemen. We would like to pay tribute to the response of Yemen's President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi and the Southern Transitional Council to the Kingdom's call to play host for the dialogue, and we praise the outcomes of Riyadh Agreement, appealing to Allah the Almighty to make it a good omen for a new chapter of stability, building and development in Yemen. The Kingdom vows to remain by the side of Yemenis as it has always been. On this occasion, I would like to thank Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and I commend the great sacrifices made by the UAE in the field of honor along with our brave soldiers and their colleagues in the coalition forces. Since the beginning of the Yemeni crisis, our priority interest was the support of the people of Yemen, in response to the request of their legitimate President, emanating from the principle of self-defense, ending external interventions designed to impose a de facto reality by force, foiling the coup against its legitimacy and institutions, and stemming the threat to the security of its neighbors, the security of the region as well as the world's vital maritime courses. We have succeeded to achieve a lot for Yemen and the security of the region, a position that honors our fraternity and amicability. We will continue meeting the aspirations of the Yemeni people to restore their State, and reach a political solution to the crisis according to the three references. Dear brothers: In conclusion, the Kingdom affirms that these sincere intentions, the wisdom of Yemeni people embodied in the Riyadh Agreement, and putting forth the interests of the Yemeni people above all considerations and against the greediness of the parties seeking to spread sectarianism, chaos and instability in Yemen, will achieve the aspirations of the Yemeni people. This agreement will open the door before wider understandings among the Yemeni components to reach a political solution that ends the Yemeni crisis and protects Yemen against whoever wishes to harm all its components and all the peoples of our Arab nation.
