Riyadh, October 14, 2019, SPA -- President of the Human Rights Commission Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad received here today Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Shakhbut bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common concern, especially in the areas of human rights and prospects of enhancing cooperation and consultation, commending at the same time relations between the two countries. Dr. Al-Awwad highlighted the Kingdom's efforts under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince in supporting human rights. He also noted developments in the Kingdom and the pioneering steps towards achieving sustainable development that makes human beings the center of development according to the Kingdom's Vision 2030 which aims to achieve a better future for the Kingdom.
