Washington, Rabi'II 07, 1439, December 25, 2017, SPA -- Five people were killed Sunday when a private two-engine plane crashed on takeoff at a small airport in Florida, according to dpa. The plane crashed in heavy fog at about 7:15 am (1215 GMT) at Bartow Airbase, the Polk County Sheriff said in a statement on Twitter. "For unknown reasons, but likely related to the fog, [the plane] crashed shortly after takeoff," the statement said. The Cessna 340 caught fire after crashing. The victims have not been identified. The sheriff previously tweeted that the pilot was a 70-year-old lawyer and his passengers were his daughters, a son-in-law and a family friend ranging in age between 24 and 32. --SPA 01:49 LOCAL TIME 22:49 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w572962
