Buraidah, January 26, 2019, SPA -- Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has organized a visit to Qassim Region for consultants from New Zealand, within an agreement co-signed, recently, between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and New Zealand, aiming at genetic improvement of animal breeds, in the Kingdom, in order to raise the livestock sector productivity and improve the quality of its products. Undersecretary of the ministry for livestock Dr. Hamad Al-Batshan said that the visit is targeting raising the output of the genetic improvement of animal breeds project, in the Kingdom launched by the ministry, in cooperation with livestock development company from New Zealand, to polarize experts from New Zealand, working on developing similar projects, in other countries. --SPA 17:17 LOCAL TIME 14:17 GMT 0008 www.spa.gov.sa/w826472
