Riyadh, Safar 16, 1440, October 25, 2018, SPA -- Upon the Royal Order No. 7422 dated 10/2 / 1440H, on forming a Ministerial Committee chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers, Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Council of Political and Security Affairs, to restructure the General Intelligence Presidency, HRH Crown Prince chaired the first meeting of the committee here today, on Thursday, 16/02/1440 H. The Committee reviewed the reform plan including an assessment of the current situation in light of best practices and identifying of gaps, especially with regard to the following elements: Organizational Structure of the Presidency of General Intelligence. Legal frameworks and regulations in force. Policies, procedures and governance. Mechanisms of attraction and qualification.
