Jeddah, Muharram 23, 1440, Oct 3, 2018, SPA -- Saudi Airlines (SAUDIA) celebrated the arrival of the last one-aisle Airbus plane, in Jeddah, coming from Toulouse, France, completing the deal, in a record time of 21 monthx, since the arrival of the first 2-aisle plane, in December 2016. During a ceremony held here, the Director General of the Saudi Airlines Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, in the presence of senior staff from the Saudi Airlines and a representative of the Airbus, in the Middle East hailed relations binding the two companies, the Saudi Airlines and Airbus, saying that three decades of relationships have metamorphosed into a functioning partnership, citing the phases of such development, especially when an agreement to deliver 50 Airbus planes was signed. This was done under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, during a visit to France, in 2015 and holding talks with the French President Macron.
