Riyadh, Oct. 01, 2019, SPA -- Minister of Transport Dr. Nabil Al-Amoudi, who is also Chairman of the Board of the Saudi Railways, disclosed today that the Haramain (two holy mosques) speed train, which has suspended operation following a huge fire at its Jeddah station, is set to resume within 30 days. In a statement following an inspection tour yesterday of the fire location, where rehabilitation work is underway, the minister said the train will use the new King Abdulaziz airport station, to serve Jeddah travelers in addition to Makkah stations and King Abdullah economic city and Al-Madinah Al-Munwarah stations. --SPA 21:59 LOCAL TIME 18:59 GMT 0039 www.spa.gov.sa/w1182812
