Riyadh, Sep. 26, 2019, SPA -- During the third week of September 2019, Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief)'s project for clearing landmines (MASAM) in Yemen has successfully demined 876 landmines, 23 antipersonnel mines, 259 anti-tank mines, 574 unexploded ordnance and 20 explosive devices, it was reported here today. Since the start of the project, 90637 landmines, have been demined after they had been planted by Iranian-backed Al-Houthi militias in Yemen, claimed the lives of scores of children, women and the elderly, whether by death, serious injuries or amputation, the report said. --SPA 18:20 LOCAL TIME 15:20 GMT 0019 www.spa.gov.sa/w1180046
