Riyadh, Rajab 25, 1439, April 11, 2018, SPA -- The leadership of the Arab Coalition for Legitimacy in Yemen led by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued a permit to Al-Balsam International Organization to enter Yemen to treat cardiac patients and to perform a number of openheart surgeries in respond to the request received from the Ministry of Health and Housing based on what was received from (Nabd Al-Hayat Center) regarding the increased cases of cardiac patients, Mukalla city, Yemen. The approval and logistical support that the organization needs to facilitate its work inside Yemen came on the basis of the concerns of the Arab coalition countries led by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the safety of the Yemenipeople and providing the urgent remedial needs. This immediate response comes within the framework of the ongoing efforts to grant permits to international humanitarian organizations and associations and to facilitate their entry into Yemeni territory in coordinationwith the Yemeni legitimate government.Al-Balsam International is a voluntary medical organization whose medical team has been working for more than 20 years in several countries to treat cardiac patients and perform heart surgery in extreme environmentalconditions. It is worth mentioning that the leadership of the coalition led by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia works parallelly in all political, military and humanitarian trends to serve Yemeni people. This is part of the overall humanitarianoperations plan in Yemen to alleviate the suffering caused by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, the destruction and damage they caused to the infrastructure of many health facilities, and the looting of humanitarian aid reaching Yemen through various humanitarianorganizations and using it in their war effort.According to a statement by the coalition, the medical team of the International Balsam Organization will leave for Yemen in the next few days.--SPA10:10 LOCAL TIME 07:10 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w664885
