Riyadh, September 07, 2019, SPA -- Spokesman of Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen Colonel Turki Al-Malki said that the coalition joint forces managed to intercept and shoot down the airspace of the Republic of Yemen an enemy drone launched by the Iranian-backed terrorist militia from Imran towards the Kingdom. Colonel Al-Maliki explained that the coalition takes all operational procedures and best practices of engagement rules to deal with these drones to protect civilians and civilian objects from these hostile and terrorist acts and these miserable and desperate attempts that are in clear violation of international humanitarian law and its customary rules. He noted that the repeated terrorist attempts reflect desperation of the terrorist militia and losses in their terrorist elements and equipment and emphasizes the criminality of Iran's agents in the region and threatening of regional and international security.
