Jeddah, Rajab 11, 1438, Apr 8, 2017, SPA -- General Secretariat of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has described the US operations on military targets in Syria as normal and predictable, and came in response to the Syrian regime's use of chemical weapons against innocent civilians, which has claimed the lives of dozens, including children and women, in continuation of the heinous and inhuman crimes being committed by the regime since Years against the Syrian people. The Organization considered that the Syrian regime is responsible for exposing the Syrians to these military operations because of its insistence on continuing the killing and destruction, and its defiance of the international community by using internationally banned weapons and rejection of all the regional and international initiatives to find a political solution to the crisis to end the suffering of the Syrian people and meet their legitimate aspirations for freedom and justice in accordance with the Declaration of Geneva 1. --SPA 10:58 LOCAL TIME 07:58 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w371599
