Upon arrival at the venue, the King was received by the Malaysian King, the Prime Minister Mohammed Najeeb Abdulrazzaq and a host of the royal family members. Following the reception, King Salman signed on the visitors' record, writing the following remarks: "It is my pleasure, on the occasion of our visit to the sisterly Kingdom of Malaysia, to express thanks to the King of Malaysia King Mohammed IV for generous reception and hospitality, hoping that the outcomes of this visit shall deepen relations binding our two fraternal countries and peoples, to best serve our anticipations and mutual interests. The King concluded by praying to Allah to guide us to whatsoever he likes and accept. Then, the Malaysian King shook hands with a number of princes, accompanying King Salman. The next step was a photo call, to mark the occasion, followed by King Salman moving to the banquet, where the two national anthems were played. King of Malaysia addressed the banquet, welcoming the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, in Malaysia, hailing profound bilateral relations between the two brethren countries.
