Saudi Arabian Airlines allocates 7 flights to carry Qatari pilgrims from Doha to Jeddah

Jeddah, Dhu-AlQa'dah 25, 1438, August 17, 2017, SPA -- Upon the directives of Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, with coordination with General Authority of Civil Aviation, Saudi Arabian Airlines " Saudia" has allocated seven Boeing 777-300 flights, which are very modern aircraft, to transport Qatari pilgrims from Doha to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. Departure flight will be from August 22-25, while return flights will be on September 5 after the end of the Hajj session. The General Director of Air Transport at the General Authority for Civil Aviation Eng. Mohammed Al-Otaibi explained that Saudia is preparing to operate the specified flights after applying for the necessary permits from the Qatari authorities and has not received the permits so far. Al-Otaibi added that regarding Qatari pilgrims who wish to travel via Dammam or Al-Ahsa airports, they will be transported on scheduled Saudi flights or special flights if necessary.
