Jeddah, Rajab 04, 1438, April 01, 2017, SPA -- The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a market in Parachinar city, the capital of Kurramtribal district on the Afghan border, killing and wounding dozens of people. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen described the attack as a criminal act that targeted innocent civilians and contravenes all human values and principles. He reiterated OIC's position that condemns violence and terrorism in all their forms and manifestations, whatever their motives and causes. The Secretary General expressed his sincere condolences to the government, people of Pakistan and the families of the victims who were killed by this evil crime. He expressed the solidarity of OIC with Pakistan in its endeavors to combat extremism and terrorism.
