Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Invites King of Bahrain to Attend the GCC Summit and the Arab, Islamic and US summit

Manama, Sha'ban 13, 1438, May 9, 2017, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a message to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, inviting him to attend the GCC Summit and the Arab, Islamic and United States summit to be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The message was handed over by Commerce and Investment Minister Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi during an audience with the Bahraini King held for him here today. Al-Qasabi conveyed to King Hamad greetings and appreciation from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and wishes of further progress and prosperity to the people of Bahrain. The Bahraini King sent his greetings to King Salman, wishing the brotherly Saudi people further progress and prosperity. King Hamad expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the kind invitation, lauding the solid relations between the two countries, and the ever-progressing cooperation and coordination between them in various fields. The Bahraini King highly valued and voiced pride in the tremendous efforts exerted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to enhance joint GCC action, and the Arab and Islamic issues. King Hamad stressed that Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of King Salman, represents the main pillar of security and stability in the region, and its protective shield thanks to the strenuous efforts it has exerted for the sake of defending Arab interests, and preserving Arab countries' cohesion and unified stances.
