Khartoum, 10 Dhu-AlQa'dah,1438 AH, 02 August,2017 , SPA -- Saudi Ambassador to Sudan Ali bin Hassan Jaafar laid yesterday the foundation stone for a special ward at Saudi Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology in the city of Omdurman in the Sudanese capital Khartoum. During the ceremony, Ambassador Jaafar stressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's interest in supporting Sudan in all fields including health. For her part, the Director General of the Saudi Hospital Dr. Amenah Abdullah Al-Ameen explained that the special ward consists of 34 rooms representing about 20% of beds at the hospital, noting that the annual frequency of patients to the hospital amounts to 130,000 cases with a clinical capacity exceeding 150 beds.
