Toll of Cholera Deaths, in Yemen, Decreased since late July: Yemeni Health Minister

Aden, Dhu-AlQa'dah 12, 1438, Aug 4, 2017, SPA -- The number of deaths caused by cholera in Yemen have decreased since late July due to the support of the Gulf Cooperation Council, stated Dr. Nasir Ba'oum, Minister of Public Health and Population of Yemen. ''Most cases of deaths were reported in the governorates of Hajjah, Sana'a, Al Hodeidah, Amran and Ibb,'' added Dr. Ba'oum, in a statement to the official Yemeni News Agency, adding that a total of 1,890 people have died from cholera between 27th April and the end of July,'' he further added.
