Palestinian Minister of Public Works, Housing Hands 56 Saudi-Funded Housing Units, to War-affected Families

Gaza, 08 November 1437 H, August 11, 2016, SPA -- The Palestinian Public Works and Housing Minister Dr. Mufeed bin Mohammed Al-Hassaynah extended, on behalf of the President of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas and the Premier Dr. Rami Hamdallah, thanks and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of defense, for the great support and back up of the Palestinian people, stressing the significant role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in Gaza reconstruction projects. This was unfolded, during a ceremony to hand over 56 housing units, for victims of Israeli aggression, funded by the Saudi Committee for the Relief of the Palestinian People, following construction of 104 housing units, within a project to re-house the affected families, in northern Gaza Strip, under implementation of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). "The project is located in the town of Beit Lahiya, in northern Gaza, as residential units dedicated to the owners of the destroyed houses, a primary school, a mosque and networks of water, electricity and sewerage," the minister concluded. -- SPA 22:50 LOCAL TIME 19:50 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
