Ma’aden Phosphate Company Wins 2017 International Safety Award

Dammam, Sha'ban 15, 1438, May 11, 2017, SPA -- Saudi Arabia Mining Company (Ma’aden) won the 2017 International Safety Award from the British Safety Council, recognizing Ma’aden Phosphate Company’s commitment to protect workers and keep the workplace healthy and safe during the 2016 calendar year. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Director General of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Engineer Musaed Al-Qarawi received the award at the 60th Anniversary and International Safety Awards Gala Dinner in London on Friday May 5, 2017. Ma’aden said that is committed to the highest standards of health and safety management and ensured its compliance with the latest HSE regulations. Ma’aden President and CEO Engineer Khalid Al-Mudaifer said, “Winning this award is a testament to our values and reflects our commitment to meet HSE management regulations.” Ma’aden President for Phosphate and Business Development Engineer Hassan Ali said, “We are honored to achieve this global award from the British Safety Council for our commitment to the highest Health and Safety standards required by law.” The International Safety Award recognizes and celebrates organizations from around the world for their dedication to keeping their workers and workplaces healthy and safe.
