Saudi National Campaign Continues Distributing Relief Aid to Syrian Refugees

Beirut, Rabi'II 26, 1438, Jan 24, 2017, SPA -- Saudi National Campaign to support brothers in Syria continued today the distribution of relief items to the brotherly displaced Syrians in area of Mount Lebanon with the participation of Acting Charge D'affaires of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Lebanon, Counselor Walid bin Abdullah Bukhari. Through its office in Lebanon, the Campaign has started the distribution of 1700 rations of relief items included household utensils and table accessories as well as personal care bags in addition to blankets within the Campaign's multi-relief programs. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Director of the Campaign's Office in Lebanon, Walid Al-Jalal said that the Saudi National Campaign, in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has been always working to develop qualitative programs serving displaced Syrians in Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey, noting that the Campaign is intensifying its activities in winter to cover a larger number of needy families as it aims this season to cover 70,000 families. --SPA 15:24 LOCAL TIME 12:24 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w318635
