The Palestinian issue, the Syrian crisis and its repercussions on Jordan as well as the fight against terrorism, featured prominently during the talks with the delegation, comprising lawmakers from both the republic and democratic parties. King Abdullah stressed the necessity of intensifying efforts by all concerned parties to end the stalemate in the Palestinian-Israeli peace process to make progress based on the two-state solution and international legitimacy resolutions.
