"An investigation team is in Khulm district to find out more details," Sher Ahmad Durani, the police spokesman for Balkh province said. "Assadullah Ashrafi, a parliament member, was targeted," said Dr. Mohammad Afzal Hadid, a provincial council member from Balkh who is in Khulm district.
