Rome, Dhu-AlQa'dah 24, 1437, Aug 27, 2016, SPA -- The number of dead caused by the earthquake in central Italy has risen to 290, six up from the previous count, dpa cited the country's civil defence agency, the Protezione Civile, as saying. The latest casualties were recorded in Amatrice, bringing the provisional death toll for the town to 230.
