WASHINGTON, Rabi'II 24, 1437, February 03, 2016, SPA -- President Barack Obama is telling British Prime Minister David Cameron that the U.S. will soon announce "significant new contributions" to assist Syria's humanitarian crisis, according to AP. Obama and Cameron spoke by phone about Syria on Tuesday ahead of a conference of donor nations in London later this week. The White House says Obama told Cameron that Secretary of State John Kerry would announce the aid at the summit. Both leaders are calling for better access for humanitarian aid to reach Syria. The White House says Obama and Cameron also discussed Libya, where nations are struggling to determine how to address the Islamic State's expansion.
