Misk Charity dedicates General Assembly-sponsored training program to upgrade Saudi youths technological skills

Riyadh, Sha'ban 13, 1439, Apr 29, 2018, SPA -- Prince Mohammed bin Salman Charitable Foundation (Misk Charity), announced the launch of phase I of a new training program in the field of digital and technological skills in partnership with the world renowned conglomerate of General Assembly. Best-selected 30 trainees are scheduled to start training courses on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, mega data, products management and digital services. In remarks on the occasion, Dima Al-Yahya, Executive Manager of the program, cited the recently-concluded visit to the United States of America by HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, as the stimulator of this program. For his part, J. Schwartz, the founding partner and Executive President of General Assembly, lauded the big turnout of those interested to join the program, announcing that around 800 have applied for training in high tech sciences. By 2021, some 4000 females and males will be graduated from this program to join the labor market, he voiced, adding that the program is one of the fruits of the historical visit of HRH Crown Prince to the U.S. recently where a joint cooperation agreement between Misk and General Assembly was signed. --SPA 21:44 LOCAL TIME 18:44 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w679332
