The Secretary-General of King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran Professor Dr. Mohammed Salem Bin Shadid Al-Awfi, pointed to the directions of late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz in 1428 for the formation of a specialized committee, concerned to review and follow up all the electronic versions that contain the texts of the Quran and its recitations. He said that the implementation of the guidance of the High Holy Digital Research Center was established to serve the Holy Quran and its teachings, which includes a number of units. The establishment of the Complex comes in a fulfillment of the Kingdom's leading role in serving Islam and Muslims, and the sensing of late King Fahd bin Abdulaziz of the importance of the Quran Service and the Sunnah through a specialized organ and laid the foundation stone of the Complex in the 16th of Muharram 1403 AH (1982 AD), and inaugurated it in the sixth of Safar, 1405 AH, (1984). --More 15:31 LOCAL TIME 12:31 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
