The Cabinet condemned the terrorist crime attempting to harm worshippers at Al-Anoud mosque in Dammam, considering it a sinful attack by a deviant group which is straying away from the religion's path and adopting the killing, corruption on earth, destabilization of the country and defaming the profile of Islam as an approach. The Cabinet lauded the role of the security authorities in thwarting the attempt to carry out the crime. The Cabinet also lauded the cooperation between citizens and security authorities, considering the citizen as coming in the front-line of defending the security of the country paramount to security men, appealing to Allah Almighty to preserve security, prosperity and stability of the country, under its prudent leadership which is keen to apply the Islamic Sharia on whoever dares to tamper the security and stability. Then the Cabinet reviewed a number of reports pertaining to the latest developments in the region and the world whereas it welcomes Kuwait Declaration issued at the end of the 42nd session of the foreign affairs council of the member states of the Jeddah-based Islamic Cooperation Organization under the theme "joint vision to enhance tolerance and reject terror". The Cabinet reiterated the Kingdom's calls and demands addressed to the world community to take the necessary measures to stop the serious Israeli violations in the occupied Palestinian territories as well as the judaization operations taking place in Al-Quds including the attempts to divide the Aqsa mosque and moving some offices to the occupied holy city of Al-Quds and committing group arrests of Palestinian citizens, noting that such developments and violations of Palestinian human rights clarify the flagrant attempts by the occupational authorities to Judaize the city of Al-Quds through accelerating the pace of settlements and transferring the headquarters of government according to the so-called Al-Quds 2010 Plan. Dr. Adel Zaid Al-Toraifi said the Cabinet was then briefed on the agenda, including some issues the Shura Council has shared studying them and was briefed on the outcome of each of the General Committee of the Cabinet and the Experts Commission of the Cabinet in this regard.
