Further, the Minister of Foreign Affairs said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and President Barack Obama also discussed ways to solve the Yemeni crisis and alleviate the humanitarian suffering of the Yemenis. He said "We would hope that the United Nations supervises the ports of Yemen to facilitate the entry of aid and we aim to have a stable and prosperous Yemen and we are working to alleviate the suffering of the Yemenis," stressing the importance of implementing UN Security Council Resolution 2261 and the GCC initiative as well as the outputs of Yemeni national dialogue conference. With respect to the order of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to allocate $ 274 million for relief in Yemen, Al-Jubeir made clear that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia asked for a clarification of how to spend this amount but it did not get a response in this regard.
