Heidenau, Germany, Dhu-AlQa'dah 7, 1436, Aug 22, 2015, SPA -- German police used tear gas to disperse right-wing extremists who blocked a road leading to a hardware store designed to serve as a temporary housing facility for some 250 asylum seekers in eastern Germany, dpa quoted reports as saying Saturday. Ultra-nationalist protesters threw stones, bottles and firecrackers at police late on Friday in Heidenau near the eastern city of Dresden, a police spokesman said. Several policemen were injured. Police did not say if they had made arrests. Before the violence broke out, several hundred took part in a peaceful demonstration organized by the neo-Nazi NPD party against the housing facility for refugees. Dozens of right-wing activists broke off from the main protest and blocked a road leading to the 3,000-square-metre hardware store, which has been remodeled to serve as a temporary home for 600 asylum seekers. --SPA 12:12 LOCAL TIME 09:12 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
