He said the Iranian nuclear issue remains one of the most highly-volatile obsessing security issue on the region's security and safety. History is evident that any weapon that found its way to the region was used by its recepient, he said, adding that emanating from this principle, "we laid our weight behind a peaceful solution based on guaranteeing Iran's right and other countries of the region to the peaceful usage of nuclear energy according to standards and measures of the International Agency for Atomic Energy and under its supervision and in compliance with the Arab League's resolution aiming at making the Middle East a mass destruction weapons, including the nuclear arms, free zone. He added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia calls for expanding the mission of the international coalition to fight ISIL and continue its call for expanding this coalition to become as an international police to confront all terrorist organizations without exception and anywhere, taking into consideration that the intellectual confrontation of terrorism is no less important than security fight as well as cutting off the springs of finance of terrorist organizations. He reminded the members that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has, as everybody knows, succeeded in its pre-emptive attack against terrorism, including its security, intellectual and financial operations against terror organizations on its territory. Saudi Arabia's awareness of the globalization of the battlefield triggered its regional and international efforts to build an international cooperation to fight terrorism upon a clear strategy with specific objectives and effective tools including the collective attack that work to guarantee up-rooting the phenomenon and its evil. To reach this end, the Kingdom hosted in Riyadh in 2004 the world's first international conference to combat terrorism, a step followed by the establishment of the International Center for Combating Terrorism upon the Kingdom's initiative under the umbrella of the United Nations and donated $100 million to it and participated in all international initiatives to combat terrorism as well as the extremist thought leading to it. --More 20:21 LOCAL TIME 17:21 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
