The letters were handed over by Baron Bjorn von Sydow, former Swedish Defense Minister and Special Envoy of the Kingdom of Sweden, during a meeting with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques at Al-Oja Palace at Dir'iya yesterday evening. During the meeting, the Swedish Special Envoy conveyed the greetings of Sweden's King to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques as well as the apology of Sweden's Prime Minister for the offensive remarks against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. For his part, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques sent his greetings to Sweden's King and Prime Minister.
