UNITED NATIONS, Rajab 16, 1436, May 5, 2015, SPA -- Cyprus’ rival Greek and Turkish Cypriot leaders will decide on the exact date when stalled talks intended to unify the war-divided island nation will resume after they hold their first meeting next week, a U.N. envoy said Tuesday. Espen Barth Eide said that Greek Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades and new Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci have told him that they are ready to restart peace talks “without delay” and that there is “no time to waste.” The date will be announced after the leaders meet at a dinner hosted by Eide. --SPA 19:49 LOCAL TIME 16:49 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
