BAE Systems gets support contract for British Army vehicles

LONDON, Rabi'II 6, 1436, Jan 26, 2015, SPA -- The British Army's armored track vehicle fleet is to receive support services from BAE Systems under a five-year, $75 million contract, according to UPI. The award, which combines a number of existing support contracts into a more efficient and effective contracting agreement, was issued by the Ministry of Defense. More than 3,500 tracked vehicles are covered by the award, including Warrior; Titan; Trojan; Bulldog; Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance; the Challenger Armored Repair and Recovery Vehicle; and the Challenger 2 main battle tank. --SPA 17:54 LOCAL TIME 14:54 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
