Dr. Al-Harthi said that the campaign has, since its inception, carried out (141) relief humanitarian programs and projects for the displaced Syrians inside Syria and in places of Syrian refugee gatherings in Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey at a cost of more than SR 706,000,000 according to the relief plans and humanitarian programs. He pointed out that the campaign is going apace to cover a large part of the needs of the Syrian brothers under the guidance and direct supervision of the Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior who is also the General Supervisor of the Saudi national campaign. He commended the great role of the Saudi people for their generous contributions and donations to help the Syrian brothers in their tragedy as a sign of expressing social cohesion and religious ties between the two brotherly peoples, and as a confirmation of the humanitarian role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, government and people towards their Arab and Muslim brothers in their various locations, especially in times of crisis. --SPA 15:20 LOCAL TIME 12:20 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
