Seoul, Rajab 28 1436 AH, May 18 2015, SPA -- The relationship between the United States and the Republic of Korea is "stronger than ever," US Secretary of State John Kerry said today (Monday) during a visit to Seoul, dpa reported. The visit took place amid growing threats from North Korea and questions about the Seoul-Washington relationship, Yonhap News Agency said. "There is no daylight, not an inch, not a centimeter, not a microscope of difference between the United States and the Republic of Korea in our approach to the question of North Korea's provocations and its nuclear program," Kerry told a joint press conference with his Republic of Korean counterpart Yun Byung Se. Kerry said the US was ready to offer North Korea an improved bilateral relationship "if and only if and when it demonstrates a genuine willingness to fulfill denuclearization obligations and commitments." --SPA 11:46 LOCAL TIME 08:46 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
