Bahrain withdraws its ambassador from Iran and considers Iranian Charge d'Affaires in Manama persona non grata

Manama, Dhu-AlHijjah 17, 1436, October 01, 2015, SPA -- Bahrain today announced the withdrawal of its ambassador from Iran and considers Iranian Charge d'Affaires in Manama persona non grata and gave him 72 hours to leave the country. In a statement, carried by the Bahraini news agency, the foreign ministry said "Amid the continuation of Iranian interference in the affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain without a legal deterrent or ethical limits and its brutal attempts and practices aiming to create sectarian sedition and impose its force and overwhelm the entire region through bad tools and means that far surpass defaming statements by its senior officials, the Kingdom of Bahrain has decided to withdraw its ambassador Rashed Saad Al-Dosari to Iran and considered Mohammed Riza Babaee, the Charge d'Affaires of Iran in the Kingdom, persona non grata and gave him 72 hours to leave the country". --SPA 22:00 LOCAL TIME 19:00 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
